WHAT……..A CUTIE! Guntersville Alabama Children’s Photographer

When this little guy’s Mom called to book his session, she told us that she had tried twice to get his pictures taken and each time he had a little meltdown. She was going to give it one more try but was so worried that it was not going to work and that she wouldn’t have any pictures of him when he was little . So, I began brainstorming for some ideas to make his session fun for him. Well, I had a bag full of tricks just ready to pull out, but did not have to use any of them, because he was so happy and playful. His Mom told me he liked trains so we headed over to the Train Depot (which usually never has an actual train there……..but what do you know, we pulled up and there was a train just waiting on us). This little guys session was such a breeze and lasted a total of about 30 minutes (most of which we spent playing). So here you go Mom, you no longer have to worry that you won’t have any pictures of your adorable son! Thank you so much for letting me photograph and play with him today, it was such a pleasure!:)Amber

First of 2012: Guntersville Huntsville Alabama Newborn Photography

I had to take a quick break from uploading the remainder of last years sessions in order to post a sneak peak of this little guy (our first newbie of 2012)! When his Mom brought him in, she told us that he looked great in red (and I do believe I have to agree with her):). I don’t know what is in the water, but the last several babies I’ve photographed have had the prettiest lips, and this little man is no exception. I couldn’t decide which processing I liked best for the closeup, so I decided to post both……although I believe my favorite image from the session is the first image. He looks so cuddly that it makes me want to just pick him up and squeeze him.:)Amber

All Smiles! Guntersville Alabama Newborn Photography

Look at all of these sweet smiles!!! This little man gave me frame after frame of the happiest baby faces I have ever seen! I love the little smirk he is giving me in the sock monkey image, but I could barely contain myself when he gave me this huge smile in the bottom image. To top it all off, I do believe he is puckering up for a kiss in the bucket!!!!! What a little charmer he is already!!!!

Simply Stunning!: Guntersville, Chattanooga Wedding Photography

Haley was also one of my best friends growing up. There was a group of 4 of us that were always together (her, Stacey, Holleigh and I). In fact, we all even got our lockers side by side so that we would see each other in-between classes. So, the fact that I got to photograph both Haley and Stacey’s weddings this year was super exciting. For Haley’s bridal, I knew I wanted to do something that had a high fashion feel to it, because she is so beautiful and photographs so well that she should have been a model! So Haley, her Mom and I packed up and headed to Chattanooga. I would say the locations for the shoot were a joint effort between all of us. We started taking pictures downtown and then Haley’s Mom had the fabulous idea of finishing up the session by the train…….and I am super glad she did because the image of Haley infront of it is one of my favorite shots ever!!:)Amber

Oh and just incase you are wondering why Haley is blowing a kiss to the numbers (when I was taking her picture in-front of the building she looked up and said “Oh my gosh that’s my wedding date!”  Coincidence? I think not!

A + C’s Love Shoot: Guntersville Alabama Engagement Photography

My step-sister, Kristen, called me one day and said “Amber Oh My Gosh, my friend Amanda is getting married and you have to do her wedding. She is beautiful and has the exact same style as you.”…….then she proceeds to tell me all of the details of her wedding day which included: 1. A Fabulous Thrift Store Find Wedding Dress 2. A Ton of DIY Wedding Decor Projects 3. A Bouquet of Handpicked Wildflowers 3. Bridesmaids Dressed in Different Patterned Sundresses 4. A Homemade Dessert Bar for the Wedding Reception………..Ummm…..SIGN ME UP!!!! So Amanda and I started emailing back and forth and I could tell right away that her pictures were going to be fabulous for two reasons 1. She wanted her pictures to show how much fun they had together and 2. She wanted them to show how much they love each other. And as you can tell from this sample of their engagement session, that is exactly what happened. It was so apparent that they were crazy about each other, that I didn’t have to give them any direction during the shoot. It was almost like I wasn’t even there. They were so comfortable, relaxed and in-love that all I had to do was start clicking. These images make me so happy to look at, because there is nothing more beautiful than love in action:)Amber
